Vera Lite receives IP address from DHCP server but Dashboard can't find it

Hi everyone

I am a new user of the vera lite. I’ve tried to get it working without success. The device gets an IP address from my dhcp server (Cisco ASA Firewall) but when I go register and login to the dashboard, it does not find my device. I have noticed that I can’t ping the IP address but I am not sure if this is normal or not.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I might be able to try? All three lights on it seem to be solid.

You should be able to ping and SSH to the Vera, but…

If this is a used Vera Lite and if this Vera Lite has been previously upgraded to UI7 and the “secure my Vera” option has been selected, then Vera’s firewall has been turned on and there will be no local network access at all. If this is the case, you will need to perform a factory reset or possibly even a firmware reflash to gain access.
