My Vera Lite failed during upgrade yesterday. Blue LED blinking. Tried the Vera recovery tool but it is not detecting my network card. Tried two different computers, both with Intel NICs. One Windows 7 and one Windows 10. Tried XP SP3 compatibility, administrator, no FW/AV, with no luck.
However after various attempts at resetting it it is now booting up at 192.168.81.1, but I cannot enter the portal as it says luup is taking longer to reload. LEDs are: Solid blue, blinking green and solid red.
I would also like to know how to load new firmware manually with tftp instead of using the crappy hopeless 11 year old firmware recovery tool. Anyone got any information?
Gonna have myself a nice monologue here now, managed to get that hopelessly outdated recovery program working and actually managed to successfully restore firmware, but it is not working as it should.
Please wait until Vera automatically reboots and the Network’ led’ starts double blinking or it’s solid (this can take 10 to 30 minutes).
When you see the Z-Wave led solid, you are done.
Unfortunately this does not happen. The blue power led stayed solid after about 10 minutes, but the green network LED is flashing rapidly and the other two are not lit. Waited 40 minutes with no luck.

Open a ticket with support. They are in the process of fixing that problem right now.
@GR: How did you get the recovery tool going? I do not get any LAN cards. @Don Philips: What is the result of the fix to the problem? Is there a new recovery tool or…?
