Vera Lite Adding Device

I just got my new vera lite and I am bit frustrated. I haven’t been able to add any device. I tried to follow the steps of “Add Z-Wave devices” but the instructions are for vera 2. Is there any step by step instruction for vera lite?. I am really confused and I don’t know what are the “+”, “-” and “battery Button” for and I am not sure which is the “zwave light” on the vera light. Can someone give any further guidance.?

Thanks for the help! I got the device added by following the instructions on that sheet. Although it is strange that I couldn’t find those instruction sheet at the micasaverde web.
