I’ve just installed a Poly-lock on my shed. Works fine most of the time, but it sits on the edge of the Z-wave network and in some cases Vera is unable to reach it. I have tried to improve this by setting a manual route, but when I try this Vera keeps rebooting, every time it reaches the “starting z-wave” phase. Removing the manual route fixes the reboot issue.
I’ve tried to use two intermediary nodes that both report the lock as neighbour and are reported by the lock as well. I have a suspicion it has something to do with the nodes not supporting Beamkng, but these nodes show Beaming (B) under their capabilities. Is there anything see besides the B I should be checking, and is it “normal” for Vera to reboot when trying to add a manual route through a non Beaming node?
