Vera intergration with hardwired Alarm Panels

I?m interested in getting Vera Home Automation system. My home has been pre-wired for all doors/windows contact sensors so I want to make use of the hard-wired security devices with the Vera automation controller. So, I was wondering if Vera could be integrated with any Hard-wired Security Panel/Controller. If yes, which Controllers/Panels are supported?

Vera cannot be integrated with any random alarm system, but it can be integrated with several alarm systems. The general consensus on this forum is that the DSC alarm system allows the best bang for the buck as well as Vera integration. There are countless discussions on the matter, simply search this forum.
