i realize that vera edge is a z-wave controller. will it also “see/control” wifi" devices?

I cannot get vera to change internet settings at all. I am trying to set it up to connect to my wifi network but when it scans for the wifi network it doesn’t find anything and I cannot click apply and save on the configuration page.
Not by default, there has to be a plug-in and they tend to be device specific, i.e. Nest app.
For devices that respond to http requests you can do luup calls in the advanced tabs.
Your best bet is to do a search here in the forum for the devices you want to use. That even goes for zwave devices because some have features outside the default zwave device specs and require some customizations.
