Vera Edge and changing parameters

Hi, so fully newbo to domotica and just unpacked my Vera Edge together with some figaro wall plugs and light sensor and I am trying to change the parameters of these wall plugs. So I go to the device, device options and then add a configuration setting. There is where it goes wrong, somehow I am not able to save the settings I put in, it just refuses to save my settings, goes for the wall plugs and for the light sensor. Any idea’s? Thanks, Arien

I’m having a similar problem - I can add configuration fields but they all default to 1. Changing the parameter # and clicking save has no effect - the additional fields all come back as parameter 1? Is this another UI7 issue?

After you add or change parameters, the device must be reconfigured before they take effect. This can be done by a Luup Reload or by clicking the Configure node right now button an the device’s Advanced tab - under Commands.

I’ve configured after saving the changes but it still returns with 4 configuration fields all set to parameter 1.
I’ve also tried writing new values to the particular parameter field I want to change but it does not seem to be storing it.

Did you change Data Size to 1 byte dec?

Can you post some screen shots of it?

Yes, I changed the data type to 1 Byte Dec (I’ve set config parameters without problem on UI5).
Screen shot attached. I can enter the Variable, data size & desired value but nothing is happening when I click Save.
The Device is a Fibaro FGK101 with a DS18B20 attached - the association is automatically produced.

When you change the value in a field, you should then click outside the field to set the value. After setting the Variable (number), Data Size and Desired Value, you click Save Changes and then either restart or use the Configure node right now button.

It does normally work just like that.

Enable tech support on the VERA, call VERA by phone and they will log in and do it for you in a matter of 20 min.
