Looks cool never tried it, can you PM me when it’s working and I’ll try to get your issue patched. But I am guessing it’s only specific to simplewave since none of my other apps show and issue
I have been beta testing for the app since before the original launch. The developer is very responsive and always improving the app. I prefer the layout and overall design compared to the other products. Some initial issues that once they are sorted out the app will be perfect for my uses.
I think it is a specific issues with simplewave, they must have the battery icon hard coded and since there is no feed of data for battery level it shows zero. I can also contact the developer and request that no data be displayed as full battery rather than zero battery.

I would just try adding BatteryLevel with a value of 100 to the variables in vera and see if that works.
The simplewave developer removed the battery icon for those motion detectors that don’t report the value. I just got the beta version:

Nice! I am excited to try this app. Does it have that shitty lag and loading like ivera or Automator?
I did try SimpleWave a couple of weeks ago, and yes, the lag (icons and screen updating to reflect true status) when changing things like dimmers was driving me crazy. ImperiHome (Android) and the native Vera app for iPad (iOS) don’t have this lag, so it wasn’t my network/setup.
YMMV.

I have had some builds that have work close to flawlessly, but def some growing pains getting the app to respond consistently. The amount of effort the developer puts into this app I would expect him to get it worked out. I get a new beta build frequently and he is responsive to the issues and feature requests.

Finally got it to load and to test the sensors he should make it so if the batterylevel var isn’t present to not show the battery icon since not all sensor are battery operated. For example my motion sensor for my cameras and for my house security system from my DSC panel are hard wired and show up in vera.
It has already been changed in the beta scheduled for production in the next release

Thanks Mike and BOFH. I entered the LAN:port as instructed and still no luck. (10.0.0.12:82) (i have port forwarding of ports 80 to 82 to 10.0.0.12 if that helps)I have made sure to change authentication in the blue iris web server settings to non-local only.
I have enabled the anonymous account in blue iris users
Update: With Undertoes help I found that I had not entered the Blue Iris server IP address while creating the actual camera.
When you create a new camera make sure to enter the Blue Iris camera short name AS WELL AS the LAN address of the BI server.
THANKS ALL!!! YOU ROCK!!
I have read through the comments and it seems to me that there is a problem with the plugin using the Blue Iris authentication. When I set up the plugin with user and password (even with Administrator checked), the plugin does not connect. As soon as I (1) turn off authentication or (2) uncheck secure only or (3) change it to Non-Lan only, the plugin connects under the Anonymous User profile in Blue Iris. I don’t want the Anonymous user EVER to be used. I prefer a secure connection.
Is there a way to make the plugin use Blue Iris authentication?
Thanks,
Keith
I updated the install instructions for installing via mios app store just in case their is any confusion. I will make an install video later.
Anyone using the motion triggering from blue iris to vera, looking for some feedback on that.
Working great for me. I just need to figure out how I want to switch BlueIris profiles from Vera now.

Hey All
You guys seem to have gotten much further than I have. Im just trying to get the Camera feed working in Vera. Ive followed the installation video with no luck. Ive tried:
Ensuring ive entered IP:port
Entering correct credentials in vera
Ensured that I can connect to the webserver on the local network
Ensured that I can connect to the webserver from the outside
Ensured that username/password works
Open the webserver without authentication - didnt work even then
Unticking secure only
Setting the BI webserver to NON-LAN only
Ive run out of things to try to be honest. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Quick update here all.
So I deleted the Camera’s that were created by the Plugin App
Created the Camera’s exactly as per the video - ie through Dev Apps
Made sure that BI webserver was configured to NO-LAN Only and secured is UNTICKED
All is working fine. However as soon as I enabled secured connection again - it breaks.
Reading in this forum, some people have it working with a secured connection which is what I would like to do.
Is there any way of getting this to work with a secured connection?
Hey everyone I will be making some updates when I get back
Home. We had a new addition to our family so I will be a little tied up for a couple days. But I want to test out auth and make sure it’s working properly and or get it working. I also think I can add in some custom ui functionality for force recording and profiles. Stay posted…
Congratulations. Installed a camera to keep an eye on that bundle of joy yet?
Thanks! Lol that’s actually how it all started
Congrats on the family addition. That’s more important than any of this stuff
