I apologize if this has already been asked/answered, but I’ve tried searching and couldn’t find anything. Is there any documentation for the Vera Alerts plug-in and app? I’ve tried contacting the maker of the app but never got a response. I’ve read that it is easier to customize my notifications than with only Vera. I am using a VeraLite. Thank you.

@uomgoblue - I’m curious to know what method you used to contact the author. He’s usually very responsive when you post in the appropriate forum. Though I’m sure others would also have been willing to help you with basic questions.
Yes Richard is very responsive. I have communicated with him several times just this morning on another app he has built.

VA stopped working. I haven’t had any notifications delivered for 24 hours. I tried rebooting vera and my phone but to no avail. Does anyone else have the same problem?
Is it licensed, or has the trial expired?
After 30 days, unlicensed users are allowed a total of 2 active profiles and 10 messages per Vera Restart.

My question was in my original post…Is there any documentation for the Vera Alerts plug-in and app? I tried installing it but I didn’t understand what it was doing or what it wanted. That’s why I asked if there is any documentation.

It is licenced.
I would open the plugin in VERA, send alert and send a test alert first to see if that even goes threw.
If that has a problem, click on profiles and check your VeraAlertsID and compare to what your phone is showing.
See where that gets you to start.
Help is linked from the APP store as well as various places on the App on your Vera.
I have yet to see a specific question to answer.
Are you UI5, UI6, or UI7 ?
Sendind test notifications from within VA plugin didn’t work eather. After fiddling with it for a while I unregistered VA in my phone and then registered it again. After that VA was starting to work again. I have no idea why that was. I guess Vera just needed some attention again because of me not touching her for a week or so
