I recently updated my new Vera 3 with the latest release. Then uploaded a device implementation file that I had downloaded from one of the forum posts to fix an issue with SqueezeBox and UI5. Directly after the upload, the device became unresponsive, no web UI and I ultimately decided to reboot it. Vera never fully booted. Power light blinking red and green. No IP address assignment. Front panel and power reset did not work. Reset via SSH did not result in an improvement either. So I decided to recover it following the wiki instructions and using the recovery tool and firmware for Vera 3. Recovery tool indicated success. I can connect via the web UI on 192.168.81.1 but get an error message:
Network Error!
We are sorry! There was a problem and the MiOS firmware could not be dowloaded automatically from server.
Please connect your box to the internet, then turn it off and then turn it back on.

I tried hooking up Vera 3 directly to the Internet router, but no difference. Tried to connect via the Miscaverde website. It locates Vera, but throws up an error that it cannot communicate with it. No matter how many recovery attempts thereafter; I get the same result and end up in the MiOS | OpenWrt Backfire 10.03.1 LuCI web UI. Contacted support this Thursday, but no response.
Anyone that has experience this before and can provide some guidance? Thanks in advance
