VERA 2 "NOT LOADING ERROR" Message Window

You’re not the only one!!! I just woke up to find my outdoor lights, 90gal reef tank lights, 54gal reef tank, 29gal tank lights and powerheads all ON!!! Tried to remote access via my iPhone using Automator & my tablet using Home Buddy, no connections… I tried to use the browser & the page loaded but received “Data Not Loading?” window and none of my data was displaying. In the windows it had 4 or 5 options, asked to reload Firmware, Tech support, remote something…

I tried it again via a PC browser & received the same message… I power cycled my Vera 2. The only the power light would come on & still same error message. I tried the reset button, nothing! I power it off again & left it unplugged for 20min… FINALLY power, ETH1, & ZWave lights are on and started to get texts on my phone… I now can access my Vera and page displays fine… WHAT GIVES???

This isn’t a toy to me and I depend on this to run needed tasks including my security system. Any ideas?

Did you do anything recently like update to Ui5?

Had a similar issue yesterday! Came home to find my Vera2 bricked with only the power light on. Tried to reboot it, unplugged it, left it off overnight but still the same problem. Finally I was able to access it today using the eth2 (ssh) to find the log filled with deadlock errors as below and LuaUPnp was not able to load properly.
I re-flashed the firmware but couldn’t apply an upgrade (had 1.1.1338 before the crash) because mios download servers are down. I hope they will be up soon because until then… i’m stuck with a useless device. I have to idea why this happened. I hope MCV can shed some light on these problems.

Hey brother. No, that I the primary reason I have not updated to UI5. All I keep on reading are nightmares people are having. Also with the DSC plugin that have installed and use daily, i will wait till the bugs have been worked out.

Besides it being connected to my DSC, my Vera is relied upon heavily. It controls a 90gal, 54gal and 29gal saltwater systems with expensive coral and livestock in them. I would loose my mind if a module that runs a circulation pump or heater was told to power off.

Since the last UI4 update it fixed a lot of ghosting issues I was having with wall switches turning on whenever they wanted.

That sucks indeed. Very odd though. It just happened, no warning what so ever. I was lucky to get mine revived, but still nothing on yours yet?

No luck yet. Their download servers are still down :frowning: I sent an email to support but no reply yet.
