Vacation home with no internet access

I’d like to set up a simple system to trigger lighting when I’m not home.
This house is very rural and has no internet available.
My thought is to have a table-top remote that turn lights on/off after sundown for security purposes.
Any recommendations on a simple remote for this task ?
I figure 3 or 4 different Z Wave switches to be incorporated into this vacation home.

Thanks in advance.

The Aeotec MiniMote is perfect for this. Easy to use. 4 buttons programmable for 8 scenes.

Thank you for the reply.
Does the Aeotec MiniMote have the capability to trigger events on its own, based on sunrise/sunset or time of day ?

No, sorry, it doesn’t do that. Perhaps I misread your original post. You’re trying to do all this without Vera at all, then?

Yes, just need a remote that can handle this.

It looks like this remote can handle timed events…

I’m not sure we all understand what your doing.

Do you have a VERA in the house or not? You are on a Vera website so this comes as a shock.

I’m assuming your unaware that VERA doesn’t need internet to work. It only needs internet if you want to control it while your away from the house.

All timer and settings can be set in VERA and left without internet to control the devices you just can’t view or change them, or manually control them from away (which you can’t do with a remote either). Without internet you can’t use an app that rely on internet either tho, like DAY and NIGHT (which would be munch better to control lights vs. a timer).
