v1.92 released

V1.92 has been released, containing a few small bug fixes:

  • Fixes issue with swiping between screens, when using an iPad lying flat on its back

  • Support for SimpleAlarm plugin

  • Error messages about incorrect credentials will now only be shown once, until the app is restarted or network settings are changed.

  • Settings not applicable to the type of device (iPhone / iPad) are now hidden in the settings screen.

  • Action controls can now be linked to a Vera (in the control’s Properties) so that Lua commands can be sent to the correct Vera in case there is more than one.

Hi @intveltr - were you able to fix the 96 degrees F maximum? http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,25040.msg175844.html#msg175844

Hmm, seems that one fell off my list somehow. I’ll make sure it goes into the next version

Thanks

Hi Intveltr,

I’d like to check my veralite system remotely via mios server and get an alert if down.

I’ve activate an Action Button with this URL

https://fwd8.mios.com/user/psw/device/data_request?id=lu_alive,

and I’d like to run this check periodically and get an alert if veralite is down.

Is it possible ?

An issue with this is that your Vera will not always use the same forward server. It may use fwd8.mios.com right now, but if a luup restart or a vera restart happens, it may / can change do a different server.

Hi Garrett ok tnks for your reply.

Then is it possible to have an action that check periodically the vera system based on userid, psw and device with the same parameters used by Homewave to connect remotely .

The action button currently does not support this. It can send lu_action commands to Vera, using the same credentials and forward server that HomeWave uses to connect. But it cannot do a lu_alive, nor will it read and report any data.

I am having bad issues with 1.92 on my ATT iPhone 4S.
The program worked great until this latest update. I am currently running IOS 6.1.2.

I have deleted and re installed. Worked great for a moment. It hangs and shuts down at viewing main screen. When it does work, it will only receive updates from 1 of the 3 thermostats I have a single ui6 Veralite monitoring.

My ipad mini, running IOS 7.0.4, is unable to receive any updates from the 2nd and 3rd thermostats. It is connected on the same lan, with direct IP connection to the Veralite.

Thank you for a great program.

That’s strange. From which version did you upgrade to 1.92?

It’s possible that something happened to your saved configuration. Can you try deleting those non-functioning thermostats and add them again?

Are you using the same HomeWave config file on both devices?

There appears to be an issue now that resizing grids will sometimes result in controls being deleted.

Just want to say thank you for job well done.

After trying and owning most, if not all, of the IOS remote control software available, I can say HomeWave rocks. Not perfect, specially flakiness around the status of devices and limited set of available icons. However, very solid effort

Looking forward to the next version!
