Use an old vera3 for Vera Concierge

Does anyone know if it would be possible to load and run Vera concierge on an old Vera 3 I have laying around? Would anybody be able to provide me instructions for doing so if this is indeed possible? I don’t mind completely wiping the unit to make this work rather than by another piece of Hardware that may just do the same thing.

You would do the same thing as running on any other linux machine.

forgive my linux ignorance but do i have to wipe that whole machine or can i simply install in a new directory i will create using winSCP? Do i need to install java?

sorry, not my area of expertise but i can usually figure it out with a little help.

Yes to need to do the equivalent of the linux install as defined on my web page.
I have not tried … and not inclined to try … since the Vera 3 is a pretty low powered processor … and the environment is far from a standard linux … If you are not a linux hacker … I would not recommend it.
