Does anybody know about a USB NTP server with an internal Clock that can be used with vera. I would like to use this for a non internet environment without referring to an extra PC on the lan
… but IIUC the time service does not cover your country. Please do not hesitate to ask Meinberg for a solution for your problem - and please let us know your findings.
DCF600USB: DCF77 USB Radio Clock is closer (but probably not close enough …) with regard to coverage in your country.
That is a way cool concept. Won’t work in my country either, though.
Another thought is to use the Global Positioning System, which includes UTC in its broadcast. There are GPS USB dongles, but I have no experience with them, and I bet you’d have to write the glue code yourself.
