Hi. Is it possible to connect a USB 3G/4G dongle to Mi Vasa Verde 3 gateway/router for internet access?

and elsewhere.
Use a router or WiFi bridge instead.

Hi Z-Waver. Thanks for your answer. Your answer is about usb WiFi connected to vera 3 lite and not USB 3G/4G internet dongle connected to vera 3 router. Maybe it is the same stuff as USB WiFi for vera lite?
The answer is that USB network adapters of any kind, WiFi, 3G/4G, Ethernet, are difficult to implement on Vera without changing the underlying Linux configuration and, in some cases, installing drivers. All such changes will then be wiped out at the next firmware update.
The proper way to accomplish what you want is to use a gateway device with ethernet interface, such as the WiFi router example that I linked to, and have Vera communicate with it via the ethernet port.
For your situation, the 3G/4G gateway will depend on your location and available mobile providers. But, here is an example: TP-LINK TL-MR3020 3G/4G Wireless N150 Portable Router and 3G/4G Virgin USB Modem.
Thanks
