usb/ethernet relay board with plugin for Vera

I am looking for a relay board with 2 relays minimum, which is either usb or ethernet, and which also has a plugin for Vera (as i am not capable of writing one myself unfortunately)
Something like this: USB Interface Four(4) Relay Way Board Controller 3800159300108 | eBay

Umm, Have you searched the forum? You might want to look into the IORelay. User guessed created a plugin for it to interface with Vera.

I did a search, i’ve seen it but somehow i thought there was no plugin. Had a look again, and there is one… went on to the iorelay.com website, and found a 2 relay usb board, for $150… there must be something cheaper ?
The rs232 version is $44 http://www.controlanything.com/Relay/Device/R220HPRS&Category_Code=ALL_INTERFACES, and even that looks like overkill, i think that switches 20 amps. What i need to switch is more like 200mA, or is that then a contact closure ? Sorry i dont know the difference…

Check the thread below which refers to the devices on EBay.

Brientim, i was looking at that one as a USB version, but it only has 1 relay. I could buy 2, and link them both to my USB hub i guess, but it would be neater to have a 2 relay USB version. There are others out there with 2 relays, but i dont know if they will work with any of the available plugins

Even the single USB relay would need to have either the plugin modified or one created. You could use a USB to Serial adapter for 4 relay. The change between different relays should be minor as it was for someone previously who purchased an 8 relay module… There are lot of them avail but of course, it is cost, time and effort. The other option would be to look at the global cache iTach relay but it is more expensive but you can get, IP or wifi versions to which there is also a plugin.

I think i found an easy and workable solution… i use a Fibaro 2x1.5kW module instead, that gives my my 2 relays, and its zwave so a doddle to control. Job done ! Someone else on another thread has done that and gave me the idea. And for ?45 its fairly cost effective, and a lot less hassle than the other solutions, again, slight overkill to have a 1.5kW relay switch a few mA …
