Is there a way of deleting the pair’d information from Vera3 as the zwave device has gone up in a smoke due to mains surge.
You don’t say which version of the Vera firmware you are using, there are some differences.
First things, first. Backup your Vera and do a manual backup of the Z-Wave network. Setup → Backup → Backup Z-Wave Network.
Using UI5, click the wrench on the failed device and then click the trash can icon. That should do it, though this process sometimes fails. It may be necessary to Setup → Z-Wave settings → Advanced → Reset Z-Wave chip, which is non-destructive.
Do NOT Reset Z-Wave network! This is destructive and will erase ALL of your Z-Wave network information for the Vera.
Hi, I am on 1.5.622. I also, pinged a note to tech support and they came back with the same solution as below. Backed-up and then Deleted using the wrench. Just in the process of repair and heal, looking good.
