Unable to connect remotely ? (When not on the LAN)

Hi

Spending the festive weekend with the relatives was the first time I got to test out HomeWave from outside my home. Unfortunately it did not seem to connect, I could still access my Verlaine via the micasaverde.com login, but sadly on HomeWave all I have is a cloud with a red square around it, which suggests (I assume) connection is not possible.

How do check my mios settings in HomeWave and is there a way to troubleshoot this aspect/connection to see where it might be failing?

(I’m using the latest beta release 1.3)

On your iPhone go to Settings and then HomeWare. Check the details contained there.

Thanks, I couldn’t see it first time, but can now (typical!)

All seems fine, except my password was blank, so maybe at is it.
Sadly I am now back on the LAN so will have to check this the next time I’m out and about.

Just turn off the wifi on your phone and test.

Sadly I’m on the iPad and have a wifi only product.
