My iPhone automatically updated my app to the new UI7. Now it will not control anything. It will however give me the correct status. If I lock or unlock my schlage lock from the website, my phone will show the change, but if I try to do it from the app nothing happens. It was working perfectly. Is there some new setting or authorization that the vera lite needs to be controlled by the app now? Any help would appreciated as I also have customers I set up that are also having the same issue.
Did you upgrade your vera to UI7 as well ?
I haven’t seen any official announcement that there is, indeed, a UI7 available, but I saw their FB announcement about the new IOS version…
I asked on the FB page if UI7 is still beta for the Vera 3 controller or if it a released version. I asked yesterday and updated the post today but have not heard a response yet. I’m new to Vera and have several devices that are not setup yet…so I’d like to see if I can get started with the new UI7 version now.
Beta hasn’t been looking good yet for it and the release date is 6 months behind. I suggest staying with ui5 for now. It’s the only stable version right now.
The state this week UI7 will be released for download. Historically, all their public releases are beta and including the released version until the next version…
