I am not sure if this is the right place to report, but there seems to be an issue with UI7 and my Schlage Electronic Deadbolt. When I upgraded to UI7 my deadbolt was eating through batteries every three to four days. Once I roll back to UI5 the problem stops. Lock Model is BE469NX and Firmware is 5.8.
My Schlage lock was also eating throught the battery (about 1 month of life). I am on UI6.
The Vera polling interval was set by Vera (default) to every 2 minutes. When I turned off polling (set the interval to 0), the battery depletion seemed to stop (its been almost a month, and my battery is still showing 80%). Since the lock is an instant status device, not polling it does not seem to be a problem, as the lock still reports locking/unlocking status changes properly.
Has anyone tried the Energizer Lithium batteries in their locks to see if they work ok and last awhile? They were discontinued and discounted so I bought some with this as my primary usage for them but thought I’d ask while waiting for the current batteries to die.

My Kwickset is eating batteries in about a month too. I’m going to turn off polling and see if that helps too. Forgot it was an instant status device.
My Schlage locks seems to work fine with lithium batteries. I can’t say same for Hawking door/window sensors. The problem with lithium batteries is that testors for lithium batteries (AAA & 9V) are hard to find.
