I’m sure there’s been a topic on this, but none of my search terms seemed to come up with anything relevant. I’m in UI5 now with a new Vera3. I had direct associations setup in UI4 with the Vera2, with secondary light controllers controlling primary light switches. It was grand. It worked even when then Internet was down (unlike scenes, and other Vera-related things). It worked with the Vera being off.
Now I have a Vera 3. And during a network heal to attempt to regain some of my door locks, I lost several associations. No problem, I thought. I’ll just set them up again. Except that now, when I try, the switches and controllers for those associations no longer appear in the list of available switches for associations. Only a fraction of my switches appear, so I can’t set up a lot of the things I’d set up before.
Am I missing something? I’d think UI5 deprecated certain devices for being capable of direct associations, except that some of these controllers of the same type show up and some don’t, so I’m thinking there’s just some sort of bug somewhere. Is there a fix? A way around this? This has turned my Vera 3 into a far less capable box than my Vera 2, and that bugs me what with the money I spent on it and everything. ![]()
