I have two of each of these camera models. I would not recommend them for use with the Veralite and/or Mios system, but I’ve managed to get them working after reading around and lots of trial and error.
Step 1: Find and use firmware version 11.37.2.52 for both of these cameras. I was never able to connect Mios to the cameras when running version 11.37.2.54. The newer webUI version 2.0.10.8 seems to work fine with this firmware version. It would seem there’s no need to downgrade the webUI. You can check your camera version by going to Device Management > Device Status. If you need to change it, go to Device Management. This thread has additional information on why the newer firmware doesn’t work: http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,17320.0.html
Step 2: Access your mios cp via internal network ip address rather than cp.mios.com.
Step 3: Follow J2Red’s great instructions here: http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,10599.msg76555.html#msg76555
Step 4: I haven’t used archiving, but I’ve read that you need to add your MAC Address in the Mios camera settings if you want to use this feature. You can find your camera’s MAC address on the bottom of the camera or via Device Management > Device Status > Device ID. Typically MAC addresses have colons every two characters (i.e. 00:EF:AA…). I don’t know if that format is required by mios.
