Works on my Vera1!
Do you have a Vera1 or 2?
You can try to get to the page by typing this in your browser:
http://X.X.X.X/cgi-bin/webif/info.sh (replace the X.X.X.X part with your actual vera IP address)
Just be aware though not that visiting this page can void your warranty as you will see from the message if you do get it!
I can confirm that this will report 500 Internal Server Error on Vera2. I have never noticed this when testing the betas as I have this hooked up into my already existing network and already have a dedicated router doing all of the heavy lifting.
Does it work with the direct link?
Hi,
Why do you need advanced configuration? All the settings that you need to do are located in Vera’s UI.
We have a lot of requests for this, but doing so, you will void the guarantee. There is a flag which is changed when you access the SSH or Advanced Configuration in case someone is not honest when we ask… even if the reason we ask is so we can know what may caused the problem.
when Im changing the wireless encryption to Wep for my camera network it will not keep the settings on UI4 no matter if I apply ever step and save and then go back to the settings page . The backend seems to keep the changes I make much easier.
I was actually looking for a way to configure NTP as my Vera2 keeps sliding off the proper time. Also, no, the direct link does not work for me. This is more of just a bug report than a necessity to get fixed.
I have reported this as an issue in Mantis. I’ve noticed this in the past few beta releases of UI4

Not all of the settings are available in the Vera UI. There are a ton of additional options under the hood in the OpenWRT GUI. Maybe not for everyone, but for more advanced users.
And if you ask me, I’ll tell you the truth Ovidiu… Promise ;D
We really want to believe that all our customer are honest because the more information they provide, the easier is for us to debug a problem, right?
Frank, I will keep in mind your promise : )
How about the easy viewing of the log file that Vera 1 had. From the Advanced tab!
I could have a customer look at his log without him granting access to me and we could see the processes going on. We could see that certain nodes are taking too long. a quick refresh of the browser would give you an update. Great for diagnosing what problems are going on.
do you not want the customer to see this?
What harm is it?
