Hello!

Could anybody help me to set up this type of camera? When i try to view the camera i can see only a “?” as the picture.

The normal link in a browser is : http://10.0.1.199/admin/view.cgi?profile=2

I have first to login with the username an the password.

i don´t know the URL to get a JPEG picture from the Trendnet Webcam.

I know this is an ancient thread but here is what worked on my Trendnet IP422W after updating to the latest firmware at the time.

IP422W
Firmware Version: V1.1.1 build 98
Release Date: 1/2015

You will need to disable “User Access Control” of the camera via the web configuration interface (see manual). Apparently, Motion does not work when authentication is required when accessing the URLs. Don’t worry as user access control is a separate matter from the “admin password” of the camera. The admin password is only needed when changing camera settings.
