Turning on a device with variable timer

I’m looking for a way to create an ?vent that would ask a question “at what time do you Walt to stars the coiff?e machine” wher i would enter the time on my iPhone and then a rimer would start and turn on the coiff?e machine at the sepified time.

I need to know how, in an event, I can ask for time and then do a calculation to have the number of seconds to set a timer

Scenes can’t interact with the user like that (they are supposed to be able to run autonomously). Why don’t you back up a step and describe what real-world problem you want to solve? There might be a more appropriate way. Right now I’m thinking of the Google Calendar virtual switch, for instance.
