trouble in setting up a 3-in-1 motion sensor

I got a Wintop iSensor 3-in-1 motion sensor. I thought it’d be similar to the HSM100 and the likes. It got included and configured without issues. I ended up with 3 sensors. Temperature (works fine and gets updated), light-level sensor (somewhat OK); however, it does not detect any motion at all. Checking properties, it doesn’t even have the usual settings for motion detectors (Sensitivity , On time , LED on/off , etc.) . I also noticed under the advanced tab that there are no variables for “trip” and “last trip” … Any ideas what’s up with this?

Using Vera Lite, v 1.5.346.
Motion Device capabilities: 83,156,0,4,32,0,R,B,RS,|48,49,96:2,112,113:1,114,128,132:1,133,134,

Can’t offer any help, just want to +1 for seeing the same behaviour/lack of… on Vera 3

Thanks for sharing this info. I started to think that my particular sensor was faulty :-\

This is specific to the HSM100, where these parameters are being pre-populated.

I finally got it working (the motion part) , after a few excludes then includes (while near Vera). 8)

Next thing to do is to tweak the “configuration settings” a bit (like sensitivity and re-trigger period, etc.) but there’s no documentation whatsoever (that I can find) that shows the device’s configuration settings :-\

Same here, I got it working after an exclude and leaving it by the vera for a long time. But I also need to figure out how to set it properly. It remains tripped for a very long period.

The following site has a Vera integration guide (!), IF this is the same sensor:

Edit: link does not point to the correct sensor anymore (see here).

Cheers oTi@!

Exactly what I was looking for ;D (pending a few tests to make sure all is working as intended)

I really hate it when they rebrand devices and drop the docs!

Thanks!
Haven’t done extensive testing but initial testing indicates the instructions in the linked document is accurate for this sensor

I am having the same issue with the isensor staying tripped for a long time. Do you still have the documentation? Smarthome have moved to the Aeon Labs 4 in 1 sensor so the link posted is now different.

I have found the EU doco:

for future reference: another link to the manual: http://www.zipato.com/UserDocsImages/_SHOP/user_manuals/Wintop-iSensor%20EU.pdf

As well as this topic.
