Trouble Bridging 2 Veralites

Hi,

I have 2 Veralites in a building and I’d like to bridge them. However, after reading up and trying to follow the instructions, I still can’t seem to get it done.

When I go to Devices - Add Devices - UPnP Devices - Next (on the Veralite I would like to be the “master” controller), I cannot see the other Veralite. I have tried this process on both units and get the exact same results. Both can see a Panasonic network camera that is on the network. I have checked the box to scan for UPnP devices and came back 15 minutes later, as well as reloaded and rebooted both Veralites. Both units are connected to a somewhat standard layer 2 switch (Cisco SG300 series, which is actually a layer 3 capable switch, but in layer 2 mode). Since they both can see the camera via UPnP, UPnP seems to be working (though I’m not 100% sure). Both units are setup with automatic network settings, but I have DHCP reservations configured so that they always get the same addresses.

I’m stumped. ???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
DK

I feel your pain, I had exact same problem that you have except one of mine is Vera3 instead of Lite.
Vera3 can detect VeraLite but VeraLite can not detect Vera3.

I did all I can do as like reset and reboot but no use and ended up filing a ticket to fix.
I got it fixed next day and their service was quite prompt.
I asked service personal what was my problem and his answer was “There was a missing value.”
So I can not help you in this moment but you may ask open a ticket.
