Trane tstat not staying in ESM mode

I searched all over and I cannot find an answer to my issue. I set my 2 trane tstats into ESM mode when I go away for the weekend. Sometime at night and before the morning they both come out of ESM mode. For example, ESM mode is set at 60 degrees for upstairs and 50 degrees for downstairs. I check in the am from my phone and the upstairs went to 67 degrees and downstairs went to 60 degrees. I am running an all off command at 1:00am, but I have individually selected my lights etc that I want to turn off. The tstats are not selected in the program. I also have a “guest mode” virtual switch that puts both stats into a guest mode program, that is obviously off (and stays off). Any ideas???

As I understand it a scene can override the ESM setting.

See here from a thread aptly titled "Understanding Trane Thermostat Energy Savings mode "

I think it’s better to just set condition based schedules instead of tinkering with ESM.

Ironically I too this night have dealt with the same issue from a scene I set up back in the day before I understood the Trane ESM.

I’m thinking that might be happening, but I only have 2 scheduled scenes and neither one touches the tstats.
