Trane Thermostat

Hi All,

I am new to casa verde and new to the forum :slight_smile:

I was able to add my trane Thermostat to my Z Wave network. But I am not able to configure it. I think I have to wake up the device to get it configured. Could any of you please tell me how to proceed from here? Thanks

I am also new, but I also have a Trane thermostat so I will try to help. You said you added it to the network so I am assuming that you see it listed under devices, right? Can you give me more details about what you are trying to do? I am not sure exactly what you mean when you say you are unable to get it configured.

Thanks for trying… I am able to see the panel for the thermostat. But I get an error message when I try to configure - Unable to get any information on node.

I have never had that issue so I am not sure I will be much help. You have probably tried to things I can think of but in case you have not, how far away is the controller from the thermostat? If it is far are you able to get it closer to see if that is the issue? Are you having issues with any other devices? Have you tried to include the thermostat again to see if there is any change?
