Tool tips (Help Bubbles)

I would like to be an advanced user of your product but when I start seeing stuff like SIS, SUC, Soft Reset, etc… I find myself always guessing what those terms mean. Even simple terms can sometimes be taken out of context since this type of product can be very new to some of us.

I have a D-link router and I love it because it helps me understand all the networking terminology by giving me simple explainations as to what every term means just by clickig on the word or looking on the left hand column. I would love it if you guys could do something like that.

Even if you think something is too obvious, explain it anyway. If you want to tease us beginners for not knowing something, use a little light humour at our expense while explaining it. Everyone likes a good laugh.

I think google and apple are two good companies for example. Google makes stuff simple but also uses humour for a lot of stuff. Apple tries their hardest to simplify everything for the average Joe while adding style. I see you guys perhaps taking those good examples with your product and I feel you guys will succeed.

Thanks for your time,
Duncan

Hi duncan,

If you PM me your email address I will send you some documentation on ZWAVE terms and network knowledge.

Thanks,

I just sent you a message.

In the next firmware we’ve greatly simplified the Z-Wave options screen and eliminated stuff that users won’t need to change to make it simple.
