We had Vera installed a couple of weeks ago and then left the next day so I’m still getting used to it
Can anyone help with a question re times please
I have set my time zone to New York and the clock on the online system is showing correct Florida time. My issue comes when I am setting a PIN to start and end at a specific time of day
I have set it to start at 15:00 on a particular day but when I view it in the list it shows the time as 20:00. The same 5 hours difference shows for all start and end times
I know this is because of the 5 hour time difference between me and the lock ( I am in the UK)but my qustion is
Do I need to change the start and end times to reflect the time difference or is the system showing me what time it will activate in MY time zone i.e. it will still activate at 15:00 ET/20:00 BST or do I need to change the times back 5 hours each time?. Will I then need to take into account an extra hour if over in Europe when setting and any differences in clock change dates between UK and US?
Basically, is the 20:00 shown in the list 20:00 BST or ET even though I input 15:00 when setting it
