Thermostat usability problems

I have an HAI RC-80 I bought from shop.micasaverde.com and after getting through the initial problems of pairing it I now find the usability pretty low. On the status page it shows the current temperature, but not the current setpoint. Just a blank edit box that when I type something in doesn’t ever seem to do anything. I’d also expect vera to set the time on the thermostat to sync with vera for me automatically, but it does not. Also configuring the wattages is not described in the advanced settings. Its just a comma seperated list with 3 values and no reference to what each one is.

This is fixed in next week’s release.

Usability issues

We did tweak the layout a bit, but in the 426 it should be functional. The current set point temp is in the white input box. You can type in a value to change it. We changed this now so there’s a ‘set’ button next to it to make it clear. The current ambiant temperature in the room should be printed next to it. We also added a descriptive tag.

Have you looked into proper associations for Leviton-branded devices and controllers?
