Thermostat suggestion

Hi I need help in finding a z-wave enabled thermostat that is cost effective. I have baseboard heat in my home and I’ll need 8 thermostats overall. I plan on using the Aube relays so that my options are more open. No offense to T1000, but their new solution is not ideal and it’s Kickstarter…The problem I am finding is that all the thermostats I have found are the wrong orientation. I need a stat that will cover a standard gang box (2.5" x 4" roughly). I cannot patch the wall opening without a lot of work due to walls being cedar planked, and patches won’t look nice either trying to match stain.

Would anything work for my application?

The CT100 is about 4.5 inches tall and 6 inches wide. It can run with or without the c wire, making it pretty versatile. You do sacrifice programability, and the physical interface is blah, but it works very well with z-wave. It’s also the cheapest (or one of the cheapest) z-wave options out there. I don’t know anything about baseboard heating, so you’ll have to investigate that yourself. Its worth a look.
