Thermostat Recommendations

Hello,

I’m new to home automation having recently purchased my VeraEdge. So far I’ve put in a few outlets and light switches. Now I’m looking at automating heating/cooling. I’ve looked at the forums for compatible thermostats and I’m looking at either the 2GIG CT-100 or the Remotec ZTS 110. Any recommendations for one over the other?

I’ve seen a few posts that indicate issues with both. Or should I just get a Honeywell Wi-Fi thermostat and use the plugin?

I ended up going with Honeywell Wifi thermostats. As a thermostat alone, they function very well. However, the integration with Vera (and other home automation systems) is less than stellar. If I had to do it again, I would have either gone with the Nest or a simple z-wave thermostat rather than a wifi thermostat.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve gone ahead and ordered the 2gig CT100. Hopefully I don’t run into too many issues.
