The dreaded "Failed To Go Into Learn Mode"

Just to close this loop…

MCV support worked through this with me. Multiple reboots, pairing/unpairing, it now works and there’s no earthly explanation for it.

There were two switches that would exclude but just would not pair, and threw Vera into “failure to enter learn mode” every time. I sent those back. All else is well.

I had the same issue.

When I swithed back to 2.78 I was able to include a new POP plug dimmer.
switching to 3.20 the second one failed again
→ back to 2.78 - success.
in both situation the status is Suc SIS:YES PRI:YES

Any explanation?

Thinking back I had the same issue with eminent motion and pluin switch, but I think I didn’t notice the error as is moved out of sight if you include using UI (status on top is above screen…)

None I’ve found. In my case, I was never able to successfully pair the hardware I was using. I sent the switches back. Oh… well, I see I said that already.

During the copy to the new vera edge I found the requirement to have the setting to suc/sis:NO, pri: yes.
I never did the “hack” after the upgrade to 3.20. Possible this causes the issue not possible to include after upgrade to 3.20
