I’ve just installed 2 Yale Real Living push button locks, both working great. While it’s not a great hassle to manually keep the pin codes for both locks in synch (there’s only 2 of them, and I only have four codes) is there a way to synchronize the pin codes between locks?

This is a question that has come up many times before without a solution.
I have two Kwikset door locks and many renters a year. I have to manually enter the codes with no way to ensure that the codes for the two doors match each other.

I believe there is a bug tracker but last I checked it had not been updated in almost a year…

A dirty way to do it is to copy the PinCodes section in the settings tab of one lock and past in the PinCodes section of the second lock.

If you look at the list it is each name and pin code. you have to change it and then have it reconfigure. The first time it didn’t take but the second time it did, not sure exactly what I did different. Like I said this is the dirty way, hopefully someone else has a better way or can make a plugin.
