Guys, I’m planning an installation and I want to have the posibility to switch everything from 1 switch and the setup is only 1 switch + 1 Vera. Is it possible to install the switch in the side of the circut breaker that this one would not be overloaded with whole home electricity ?
BR,
Alex
For my home. the main isolator switch is rated at 100A and I have not seen a z-wave device that will switch 100A.
one possibility is to use a contactor to switch the current and control that with z-wave.
Once you switch off the supply, where does Vera get her power from?
You can get a standard relay that will handle the load you require, Then get a zwave relay to turn it on and off. I do this for my hotwater system.
