Have You (MiCasaVerde) made support for the new Danfoss Living Conncect thermostats by now ?
/Frank
I sincerely hope, just placed an order for 12 for my house! I do have a plan B if all else fails to use their Link Controller panel to run the heating system…
Mike
Any news? I also bought 2 of them.
I bought also two. MiCasaVerde any news?
Thank you
Regards,
Matteo
It seems working, but I have two problems:
Are you able to set up correctly the new danfoss living?
Thank you
Matteo
Our Vera is not able wake up our danfoss at all, and dont sending commands when it wake up by itself. Changes can be done only when danfoss do not sleeping.
Also commands auto, off, cool, heat doesnt work (ERROR Thermostat is not configured).
Current temperature is not shown as well.
The Danfoss Living Connect thermostat only sets the setpoint for Heat. It is the only setpoint it supports and it doesn’t do anything else.
The other commands (auto, off, cool etc) are there only because it is using a generic template for the thermostats.
But it should be possible to see the actual temperature. Correct?
The Danfoss should have this informtaion.
Thank you
Matteo
Any support for this product yet?
You can see the current heat setpoint - not the actual room temperature. For that You need a unit for instance like the ST814.
http://www.sparehuset.dk/sensorer/temperatur_og_fugt_sensor.htm
By the way - the BETA 1267 firmware supports the Living Connect Heat Setpoint.
should the danfoss set heat point work with 1.1.1337? I can’t get it to work. “waiting for node to reply” shows up. As soon I wakeup the thermostat by hand (pressing a button) the temperature is changed.
Which is normal. All battery operated devices fall asleep for x seconds before they automatically wake up and receive waiting orders - like a change to the heat set point.
Normally the Danfoss Living Connect is set to 900s which means that you will receive an error for up to 900 seconds before the temperature is changed. You can change the sleep time but remember that it will reduce battery life.
Any updates on this? How is this working?
When I set the temperature in ui4 the termostats seems to receive the new temperature as it wakes up after 900sec, but the termostat do not adjust the valve to the new temperature until I press the select button. (When I press the select buttom the display lights up showing the new temperature and when the display goes off after some seconds I can hear the valve beeing adjusted.)
Have anybody made it working ?
Any news about this great new device?
Seems to set the temp fine here. Running the beta 1.1.1338.
It takes a good 30 seconds or so to set it, but that’s due to it waking up.

Are your termostats also adjusting to the new temp ? My termostats recieves the new setpoint, but they do not adjust until several hours later.
I just ordered the thermostats and controller unit from danfoss, has anyone tried to include the controller ?
I don’t think many will have bought the Danfoss link controller, it’s quite pricey. Looking at the thermostat commands it does have a proprietary command, no idea what for.
It changes temp fine here with Vera talking to the thermostat directly. Takes a while though.
I just got it delivered.
It was a package deal, so now i got 1 controller, 10 thermostats and 1 wave expansion module for my heat pump.
Didn’t have any luck with pairing the controller with vera, tried all the different ways they didn’t see each other.
