Support for Onkyo Plugin

Hello,
New user to Vera and HomeWave. Using it on a wall mounted iPad mini to replace my mPanel that died and is not supported anymore. Curious if you have plans to add support for the Onkyo plugin so I could have a page to control my audio.

Thanks,
Roger

Have you tried the AV control in HomeWave? It might work if the Sonos plugin exposes the standard uPnP services.

The onkyo plugin should expose the standard device types for RenderingControl, Volume, AVTransport, MediaNavigation as the owner made these changes to keep them in line with the other plugins like Sonos and Squeezebox.

Hello,

When I use either the AV control or the Sonos control, the only thing that shows in the device list is the room names, no other devices.

Thanks,
Roger

Can you send me a dump of your config please? Go to http://x.x.x.x:3480/data_request?id=user_data2&format=JSON where x.x.x.x is your Vera’s IP address. Cut & paste the results and mail/pm me please. I can use that to debug why the AV control doesn’t work.

Guess I am not smart enough to send a PM message with an attachment and the file is too long to paste in the PM. I can email ot to you outside of the forum if you ant.

Thanks,
Roger

Hello intveltr,

Were you able to determine the issue with the Onkyo plugin? Is it fixable?

Thanks,
Roger

I haven;t had the time yet to dive into it, I’m still busy rewiring the Preferences screen to prepare for UI6 support. Unfortunately that is urgent as more and more people are unwittingly upgrading their new Veras to that version.

Sure, totally understand.

Hi RogerO - did you find a solution to your problem? I have a similar issue with the yamaha plugin… Pretty sure that resolution on both issues will be similar… Thanks for ANY answer! Jeppi.
