What a great plugin, it’s brilliant.
But do note that you need the PRT model thermostat, I bought the wrong one initially.
Hi racarter,
I’d also like to try the heatmiser WiFi plugin please.
Thanks,
Evening guys. My thermostat turns up tomorrow after i eventually got round to getting one. Firstly, is this only working with the PRT model as i ordered the DT-TS WIFI. (don’t need the programmable feature).
Secondly, i’d like to use the plugin if that’s still in use. My main aim is to hook the thermostat into my system so that i can set a temp for the house before i get home through my Imperihome app.
Thanks

Thanks for the plugin files. It seemed to work OK with my PRT-ETS (underfloor electric heating) model. I am seeing a CommFailure quite often, despite still being able to manage the thermostat via iPhone app. This could be a WiFi issue, though I have a dedicated Access Point near the thermostat to try and avoid poor signal issues.
After installing the thermostat, I realised that I should probably configure it to measure and control the floor temperature rather than the default air temperature option. Unfortunately, this has completely confused the plugin, and now it displays a constant temperature of 6553.5 degrees Celcius! The thermostat display and iPhone app both show 19.5 degrees.
Any thoughts on how to rectify this please? Adjusting the setpoint still seems to work, and when I previously had the thermostat in air temperature mode the plugin displayed the correct temperature. I have not tried changing the mode back to air, or recreating the device in Vera.

As I told you when I sent you the plug-in it was written for the PRT WiFi model, which uses room temp only. I don’t have a PRT-ETS model so I can’t test any additional code which might be required to accommodate it.
Having said that, it seems very strange that the Heatmiser is sending a silly figure for the room temp when you switch it to using floor temp. As a workaround you could try changing the value of DCBPNT_ROOMTEMP in Line 36 of the L_Heatmiser.lua from 37 to 35. This will point the plug-in to the floor temp sent by the Heatmiser, rather than the room temp. If this works it shouldn’t be a big deal to add some code to handle the changeover.
Hi racarter.
I can confirm that the DCBPNT_ROOMTEMP value change to 35 makes it work perfectly for me with floor temperature. Many thanks for all your help.
Thats good.
I’ll have a look at adding some logic to detect what mode the thermostat is in and select the appropriate temperature.
Note to Heatmiser WiFi users: this plug-in now supports the PRT-ETS underfloor heating model as well as the standard PRT device.
Hi, does your plugin support the Heatmiser Neo?
Edit: I’ve looked at the Heatmiser website and as far as I can see the Neo uses the same protocol as the other networked models, so the plug-in might work - although obviously if there’s any new functionality in Neo this wouldn’t yet be supported.
Could I try the Heatmiser plugin too please?
Thank you

Hi!
As I’m going back to use Vera (extremely exhausted from Fibaro HC2) for some devices (including Heatmiser WiFi), could you please send me the latest version?
Thank you!
