I currently have vera lite (update to latest firmware) and it works fine with thermostat, light switch and door. Now when i add wintop sensor to network, pairing new sensor to vera lite is just fine. The problem starts at Armed is tripped state, sensor status stuck at “Tripped” forever.
So even if you put the sensor in a closet / cover it, it stays tripped? Do you know what the default timeout for the sensor is? Is there a sensitivity setting that you could change?
Yes, it stays as tripped for so long even when I cover it up or leave it in table alone
As for time out and sensitivity of this sensor, I don’t know and I can’t find any document about this wintop sensors. I check with wintop website and apparently, they don’t have it there anymore
Yeah! I looked at that before posting new one, those links are dead. And the guy only able to get motion sensor work!( able to detect motion?), still he wasn’t able to find any document about this sensor!
My Wintop 3-in-1 works well with Vera. I really like it. the manual is here http://www.zipato.com/UserDocsImages/_SHOP/user_manuals/Wintop-iSensor%20EU.pdf . Initially, I had problems with the motion part, then it worked by excluding and including again. Note that by default once the sensor trips it times off after about 1 hour. You can adjust this value and adjust the sensitivity level by changing the right parameters as described in the manual.
thank you so much! so parameter 2 is for time out. but how do i set for 5 mins time out. i try to set it like this. but it doesnt go back to normal after 5 mins

There are 2 parameters of interest: parameter 2 (mode timeout, default 15min) and parameter 3 (switch off, default 45min). If any motion is detected during the “switch off” it starts all over, and stays tripped (see description of these 2 parameters in the manual). if you want it to untrip in 5 min., I suggest setting parameter 2 to 60, and parameter 3 to 240.
You may also want to tweak the sensitivity (parameter 4).
oh hey. thank you! it works now. and about sensitive , seems 127 is max, if i want 100 i set it 100 to desired value and choose 1byte dec as data size ?

Correct. I attach my settings. I left parameters 2 and 3 at default values, and changed sensitivity to 110.
