OK my setup is Veralite with the harmony hub app. I have a wall mounted tablet that is running Imperihome. I have successfully created a scene to turn on the receiver and change it to the correct input (chromecast). What I then manually do is pull up Pandora on the tablet press play and stream to chromecast. That is the last portion that I cannot figure out how to automate. Any suggestions are welcome, I have only had all this a couple months so I apologize for my lack of knowledge.
Have you looked into Tasker? It’s for Android, but you can do some wicked cool stuff with it.
You could have Tasker start a scene when you phone connects to your wifi. That scene could run the Vera scene which sends commands to your hub with the Harmony plugin.
Yes I forgot to mention that part that is exactly how I have it set up the only missing piece is I dont know how to start pandora on the tablet.

Couldn’t autoremote for tasker do what you are wanting to do?

With the VERA plugin called “PING Sensor” it does the same think but keeps it all in vera vs. having your phone send to vera then vera flip on the plugin.
It’d be easier to do the entire thing on Android. Especially if you’re rooted.
Use Tasker with geofencing or wifi detection to determine if you have arrived home via your phone. Then send an AutoRemote or Pushbullet message to you’re tablet.
When your tablet receives the message via AutoRemote/Pushbullet it opens up the Pandora app. Now it either uses AutoInput or the tap actions in Tasker to click the ChromeCast icon and the ChromeCast device.
Or what I do is use my phone for the entire task. So it skips the AutoRemote/Pushbullet part and my phone opens up Google Play Music and casts it.
not sure about pandora, but my receiver has a vTuner internet stations… I have it tuned to a Jazz station - and just fire that up on my arrival scene.
Look on your receiver’s options to see if you can send a play/pause in my case it’s NetPlay/NetPause. You might be able to have Harmony handle that piece, so that whenever you fire the activity, it can auto play. Also look up your Receiver’s discrete iR codes… Harmony only includes the most common ones. There are lots of hidden goodies that might help with this kinda stuff.
I’m still struggling with a volume issue - my old receiver used to have definitive volume control (send -40db or -20db)… my current/temp receiver doesn’t do this - and the music volume sometimes is too high or too low. Otherwise, works perfectly.
