Will the SQ Remote control outside the home in the infrared device?
If so, how to do that?

The current way is to setup SQBlaster with Vera, and then use SQRemote to remote control vera.
Other users we have have created a VPN and used the iPhone VPN facility to securely control thier home network.
We have had several requests for this, and our next major firmware release will make this process much easier.
