SQ Remote sound

Hi,

I’m going to buy an ipad that will run sq remote to control Vera.
Is it possible to create a sound on the ipad when somebody is detected by a sensor ?
On my pc i tried the squeezebox things and that works fine but what when you’re using an ipad ?

Hi.

There is currently no way of adding an audible alarm that responds to a sensor movement detection.

Re the Squeezebox “thing”… once its setup - you add a webview within SQ Remote and then create a URL that points to the squeezebox server.

Thanks for your reply.
The squeezeboxserver is running on my pc and i don’t want my pc running day and night for this.
That’s no option.
I can’t believe it’s so hard to implement sounds in sq remote. I do write applications myself.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s the most coolest app i’ve ever seen, no doubt about that but…sound :frowning: :frowning: :(.
