Somfy RTS venetian blinds control via Vera Edge U17 RFXtfx433E Problems

Hi every one.

Just installed Vera Edge running U17 with an RFXtfx433E, Have just installed Beta 3 but just can’t get the blinds to run properly.

All that is happening Slats will open/close a couple of times (when blind fully down) then nothing after that no other buttons work, if the blind is in the fully up state, if Stop/My pressed blind goes to the My (favourite) state ie. blind fully down slats open, which is good but after that nothing else works again.

Up/Down produce a slight movement, then again nothing else works, after each crash I use the Somfy Telis remote to re-position the blinds, then some of the buttons work again for a couple button presses then crash again.

I use the Edge to control Lightwaverf/Siemens RF light switches/dimmers etc. no problems all work fine.

Anybody got any idea’s

Problem solved, with a little help from my supplier and a few alterations to the L_RFXtrx.Lua code, and all is working fine, at least using the Vermate IOS App, fraid that the Vera UI plugin and Vera IOS App only partially work until they both crash and burn after more than one button press, guess they are just full of bugs as far as controlling lift & tilt Venetian blinds are concerned, as the Veramate (and AutHomationHD on android) both work perfectly using the same L_RFXtrx.Lua file!!!

Can you please tell me how you got this working? I can manage my Somfy RTS with the RFXmngr, but not in UI7, see [url=http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,38170.0.html]http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,38170.0.html[/url]. I think the problem is that there are no variables for the unique ID and unit code as defined in the RFXmngr. Am I correct in assuming this, or do I need to take a different approach?

Thanks! Easy fix, problem solved. It would be nice if the plugin would be published in the ‘App store’ for lesser gods like me. :wink:

Is not the plugin SOMFY the latest (1.21)? Or is it better to do it manually with the 1.00 version? I am having trouble for this to work…
