If I hit the test button on my smoke detector, should it or will it notify me? Or does the Vera know it is a “Test”?

Do a real world test. Burn some paper a lite and wave it in front of the smoke detector.
Surely that is the only real way to test a smoke detector to ensure it will then alarm and trip and run your associated scenes.
