Smoke detector KDL questions

Hello

I’ve upgraded the RFXCom plugin to Beta1 and I thougth, lets try to make something out of the smokedetector devices.

I have after the upgade got a new smokedetector device in adition to the ‘older’ RFXremote device.

I wonder what the difference between the arm/dissarm function on the ‘older’ remote device is vs. the arm/dissarm on the newly detected smokedetector?

arm and disarm buttons on the old device are not relevant for the smoke detector, there are relevant for X10 alarm panels only. The only relevant button in the case of the smoke detector is the “panic” button.
The arm and bypass buttons on the new smoke detector device are usual buttons for Vera sensor devices. Of course you can use them.
