SmartStart issue

If I remove a device from the hub (unpair and/or delete), and then try to re-add it via the SmartStart QR scan, the app says “The device is already included to your hub”.

It is not - the device was removed.

How do I re-add a device, I removed that was once added?

Hello @robotman,
In that case, please follow the next steps:

  1. Go to “Menu” → “Settings” → “Smart Start” → make sure the device is not listed there. If it is, delete it by tapping the Trash Can Icon. This is to make sure the device is not pending pairing.
  2. Go to “Devices” → tap the Trash Can Icon to set the controller into exclusion mode → do the exclusion process on the device one more time. This is to make sure the device has deleted the information from the previous pairing.
  3. If you’re still not able to add the device using Smart Start, try the regular inclusion process. For this, go to “Devices” → “Add device” or Plus Icon → follow the instruction to pair the device.
