sliding gate motor

Hi Folks, I have all the standard z wave controllers, although it cost me plenty to get the electrician moving in the right direction.
Has anyone installed a controller into the board or re wired the board of a gate motor to be able to control it via z wave, my remotes are hopeless and it would be great to be able to have the gate open for coming home mode. In case anyone is curious the motor manual link is below. Thnak you in advance.

I use a fibaro FGS 221 for this purpose.

You can programmm it so it acts as a momentary switch.

… and connect its relay between terminals 1 and 3 on connector J2 of your gate’s motor control board.

There are many options for Z-Wave relays in addition to the FGS221 mentioned above. The Fortrezz Mimolite is commonly used as a relay to trigger garage door and gate actuators, and if necessary it can be powered directly from the 12V supply provided on the gate motor control board.

Thanks so much, I’ll hunt down that unit and install:)
